We are supplier of RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 fiber optic modems, RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 to fiber converting device, E1 fiber optic modem, and V35 fiber optic modem, these fiber modem are competitive prices and fast delivery. Fiber Optic Modem Catalogue in PDF
RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 are the standards introduced by The Electronics Industry Association to ensure compatibility of the data transmission between equipment made by different manufacturers, here RS means "recommended standard", RS-232 is for single ended data transmission from one transmitter to one receiver at relatively slow data rates (up to 20K bits/second) and short distances (up to 50Ft. @ the maximum data rate), RS-232 is widely used as we can see them from the common desk computer cases.RS-422 is the standard for longer data transmission distances and higher Baud rates compared with RS232. RS-485 standard meets the requirements for a truly multi-point communications network, and the standard specifies up to 32 drivers and 32 receivers on a single (2-wire) bus.
We are fiber optic modem manufacturer and fiber optic modem supplier, we offer a series of function and economy RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 interface fiber optic modems, our typical product is item No168 fiber optic modem with RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 interface, They are the best choices to connect RTU to HOST or SCADA controller. By using Optic fiber as transfer medium, increase the transfer function of system. Communication equipment abstain menace effective to lightning strike, surge, electromagnetism disturb under the curviness environment.
The Model 168 Series fiber optic modem is equipped with a multiple interface circuit that can handle RS-232, or RS-422, RS-485 serial interfaces and multi-mode or single- mode fiber. Model 168 fiber modems are used to extend serial transmission distance up to 2 km (multi-mode fiber) or up to 40 km (single- mode fiber). Note that the RS-232 and RS-422, RS-485 interfaces cannot be used on the same Model 168 at the same time to convert to fiber. The Model 168 Series incorporates a method for automatically detecting the serial signal baud rate by hardware (Auto Baud Rate Detection). This is an extremely convenient feature for the user. Even if a device's baud rate is changed, the signal will still be transmitted through the RS-232 or RS-422, RS-485 to fiber converter without any problem.
E1 fiber optic modem is used for modulating a framing or non-framing E1 data signal directly into single mode or multimode optical fiber for a transmission via fiber optic cable line. At another end of the optic cable, optical signal is demodulated into a framing or non-framing E1 data signal. E1 interface may be directly connected with the E1 interfaces of image and data terminals or the WAN ports of MUX, switch and router for a dedicated network setup or a LAN connection.
V35 fiber optic modem converts V 35 electrical signal into optical data stream for transport over single mode or multi mode fiber optic cables. At the opposite end of the fiber, the optical stream is converted back into electrical signals of the appropriate interface such as G.703 & V.35. This fiber optic modem extends the transmission distance up to more than 100Km. The frame format of MOD-V.35 is frame / unframed for E1, so it can be used to transmit E1 signal of frame video or unframed video.
