Fiber Optic Scope

Fiber optic scope is used to inspect the area that is hard to reach. Generally the fiber scope consists of fiber optic bundles with an eyepiece at one end of the device while there is a lens at the other end of the scope. The fiber optic bundles of the scope are two types; one is for lighting purpose to illuminate the object (this is necessary when the inspected area is dark). The other type fiber optic bundle is used to relay image to the eyepiece.

Fiber optic scope lens are with focus control, for example you can adjust it to have a view of the whole room for the overview or focus on a small object to see the details. Some fiber scopes are with video record function and it can record by video what the fiber optic scope catches. and the whole scope is with flexible and strong cable, by this way the inspector can use the fiber optic scope to check object from different angles. Fiber optic scope has a wide application, such as in Customs to inspect the packed goods, in engines machining or computer repair. Note in some possible explosion environment, such as gas leakage, never use such fiber optic scope under such environment.
