Fibre channel SFP is typically used in switching modules for fibre channel connectivity. Fibre channel is the standard made in 1994 by ANSI; nowadays it has become popular used connection for storage area networks. SFP is the small form factor hot pluggable fiber optic transceiver typically with LC duplex interfaces.

A wide range of fibre channel sfp transceivers are commercially available in the market, they are with different data rates, including 2Gbps, 4Gbps and 8Gbps SFP plus type. We supply Cisco equivalent 2Gbps fibre channel SFP and 4Gbps fibre channel SFP, our typical 2G version include DS SFP FC 2G SW which is used with multimode optical fiber and DS SFP FC 2G LW which is used with single mode optical fiber, our typical 4G versions include ONS SE 4G MM that is used with 850nm MMF and ONS SE 4G SM that is used with 1310nm SMF.
